About me, and then some..
|
My name is Line Gudjonsson, and I am currently living on ByƄsen in Trondheim. I have a very varied background, and am both a technical draftsman, glass artist and a teacher. At the moment I am working at Huseby Lower Secondary School.
I have been interested in dogs since I was a little girl, but the interest was restricted to walking the neighborhoods dogs as I couldn’t manage to talk my parents into buying one for the family. During parts of my time as a student I shared accommodation with a Springer Spaniel named Troy, and the longing for a dog of my own was appeased for a while. Time moved on and I bought Freya.
Freya was originally bought to be ”just” a family dog, but when I entered her into a puppy show I was smitten. It was no longer enough with one dog, and the hunt for dog no two started. Finally Callaway moved in with us, bought with dog shows and breeding in mind. If everything goes as planned the first litter will be born in 2010.
I am active in the local group of the Norwegian Schnauzer Bouvier Club, where I am currently the leader of the pack. The good thing about being active in such a club is that you get to know many others with the same breed, and one get a lot of new friend which one can learn a lot from – this I am very grateful for as I regard myself as a novice in this matter. |

The kennel name is founded on the breed's original use, which was partly as a rat-catcher. Pied Piper was the famous rat-catcher from Hameln, whose story you can read on his own site above.
I am also trying to learn more and more, and in 2008 I participated in the Norwegian Kennel Club’s breeder’s school, part 1. I hope to be able to participate in part 2 when it starts, and I also want to study dogs obstetrics in not too distant future.
